Universiade 2009. in Belgrade was in every sence a big event. For over 8000 participants was expected to be provided with the best conditions for competition, accommodation, meals, transportation and socialising. Coming and Telekom Serbia provided within that infrastructure 200 virtual user computers.

These computers were actually located in the data center of Telecom, and in the university village was installed with 200 thin clients (devices that communicates with virtual machines). Computers were used in a web cafe and around the university village for various administrative tasks. All of the equipment and software functioned perfectly during the Universiade, and users had the impression that they were working on "real" (physical) computers that are normally used. This infrastructure will continue its life after the Universiade in Telekom.
